Trust & Disappointments

Trust is the foundation of every collaboration. If it is broken – whether through agreements not being kept, a lack of transparency, power games or disappointed expectations – this not only shatters individual relationships, but also the culture of the entire company.

My workshops and consultations create a safe environment in which disappointments can be expressed, heard and understood. The aim is not to find someone to blame, but to clarify things constructively:

  • Where is there a lack of clarity and transparency?
  • What expectations were violated?
  • Where do boundaries need to be (re)defined?
  • What are the underlying causes and patterns?

What does breach of trust mean in the company?

For some, it means withholding important information, for others it means breaking agreements or ignoring decisions. It is crucial that breaches of trust are not only condemned, but also understood and dealt with.

The path back to trust begins with:

  • honest exchange at eye level
  • emotional openness and active listening
  • clear common perspectives
  • the courage to take responsibility and make new agreements

What strengthens trust

Trust does not grow through “forgetting” – but through encounters. Through conscious decision-making: for each other, with each other, mindfully. Step by step, a culture can emerge that is characterized by clarity, appreciation and reliability – an indispensable basis for cooperation and sustainable corporate success.
