{"id":67647,"date":"2024-05-18T10:31:31","date_gmt":"2024-05-18T10:31:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/michelleperreten.ch\/portfolio\/well-being\/"},"modified":"2025-08-06T08:47:49","modified_gmt":"2025-08-06T08:47:49","slug":"well-being","status":"publish","type":"cpt_portfolio","link":"https:\/\/michelleperreten.ch\/en\/portfolio\/well-being\/","title":{"rendered":"Well-being"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Resilience &amp; Well-being<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Resilience not only determines personal well-being but also plays a central role in couple relationships (Resilience Center Switzerland, 2025; Bodenmann, 2016).<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>In couples counseling, we specifically work on:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>making shared resources visible<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>developing new solution strategies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>building a powerful vision for the future<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fostering psychological resilience together<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Because partnership can be a resilience factor.<\/strong> When both partners support each other, provide stability, and find a healthy balance, a relationship emerges that not only withstands challenges but grows through them.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>However, we also look individually at:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>stress management in everyday life<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>personal &amp; shared values<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>mindfulness in dealing with difficult emotions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>paths to self-regulation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The goal is to strengthen well-being \u2013 not as a finished state, but as an active process.
